Destruction of religious objects in East Asia I am working on a manuscript, together with Eric Reinders, on the destruction of religious objects in East Asia. Other projects In addition, two other manuscripts are well on the way. The first deals with specific issues of materiality in the Japanese Buddhist tradition; the second is about the ways in which Japanese Buddhism envisioned and represented its own boundaries and its own outside.
